Shrirampur: Thirty ambulance drivers who play an important role in getting patients from the city and taluka admitted to hospitals on time were honored by Bhumi Foundation, a social organization. The ceremony was held at the Government Rest House.

Former Principal T. E. Shelke presided over the event. On this occasion, Taluka Health Officer Dr. Mohan Shinde, Naib Tehsildar Dattatray Shekatkar, Babasaheb Gosavi, Police Sub-Inspector Dadasaheb Magre, former Tehsildar Gulabrao Patil, Medical Officer Dr. Yogesh Band, Founder of Bhumi Foundation Dr. Kailas Pawar, Prof. Dr. Baburao Upadhye, Subhashdev Sukale, Anil Autade, and others were present.

Rahul Jadhav, driver of Government Ambulance 108, Rahul Wakchaure, driver of Ambulance 102, along with 30 ambulance drivers, were honored.
