Therefore, in today’s times, it is necessary to preserve and protect both the mother and the soil,” expressed Dr. Kailas Pawar, Founder-President and social worker of Bhumi Foundation, Maharashtra State, while sharing his inspirational thoughts.

During the interaction with the media, he said that in today’s fast-paced and competitive lifestyle, while moving away from relationships, sensitivity and social responsibilities, one can see that people remain confined only to the limited circle of “me and my family.” It is necessary to develop a feeling in everyone to do something for society beyond this. He further said that everyone desires progress, facilities and success, but along with these, accepting responsibility is equally important. Awareness of responsibility and collective participation are what make society and the nation more capable.

Dr. Kailas Pawar, along with his wife, teacher Anita Pawar, and with the cooperation of many service-minded office bearers, volunteers and dignitaries from across the state, has been continuously working for the education, upbringing and empowerment of girls from poor, needy, suicide-affected and financially disadvantaged farming families. According to him, true wealth is not merely financial; it lies in humanity, love, trust and service. Just as the seeds sown in the soil grow at the right time, similarly, good work done for society creates happiness, hope and new energy in the lives of many.

There is a great need for a big heart rather than big resources to bring about positive change in society. If everyone sows love, help, sensitivity and social commitment through their actions, the harvest of happiness and satisfaction will surely flourish in society.
