Dr. Kailas Pawar, Founder President of Bhumi Foundation, and Dr. Amit Kumar Dubey, Former Air Force Officer & OCA Director, paid a courtesy visit to Honorable Pune City Police Commissioner Amitesh Kumar Sir.
On this occasion, a work report of the social initiatives being carried out by Bhumi Foundation for deserving and needy girls from farmer suicide-affected families through its residential project was presented to Sir as a token of introduction to the institution’s work.
During the interaction, Honorable Sir appreciated the institution’s meaningful and valuable social work and extended his heartfelt best wishes for the organization’s future journey.

Our Activities
1) Significant participation in water conservation initiatives in rural areas.
2) Provision of essential aid and distribution of relief kits throughout the COVID-19 pandemic.
3) Initiative to distribute goats free of cost to widows of farmers and destitute women.
4) Provision of essential aid to the transgender community across the state.
5) For many years, a residential project in Wagholi, Pune, has been providing food, clothing, education, and holistic development entirely free of cost to orphaned and destitute girls from drought-affected and suicide-stricken farming families across the state. To date, countless such girls have been empowered to stand on their own feet.
6) A state-level Marathi literary conference is organized annually.
7) Essential aid is provided within the state during times of disaster.
8) An annual felicitation ceremony for ambulance drivers is organized.
9) Birth anniversaries of great figures are commemorated through student elocution competitions.
10) Assistance for pregnant women working in mines.
11) Assistance for female sanitation workers.
12) Organization of health camps for poor, needy, and widowed women.
13) Organization of job fairs for bright, needy students from rural areas.
14) Distribution of school supplies to the children of brick kiln workers and to needy, underprivileged students.
